Prerequisites

Three checks to run before you tap the install action.

Android version

The install path targets modern Android devices with the latest security patch. Android 8.0 (Oreo) and later covers the vast majority of active devices. Older Android versions may run the installer but cannot be guaranteed - the operator's app may require a newer version.

Free storage

The installer and the installed app need free storage on the device. A typical Android app requires 100-300 MB of free space. Free up space by removing unused apps and media before retrying if the install fails with a storage error.

Stable internet

The download needs a stable internet connection. Wi-Fi is the most reliable. Mobile data works but is more likely to interrupt large downloads. If the download stalls, cancel and retry on a more stable connection.

What the installer asks for, and why

A short read on the permissions Android prompts for during install and first open.

Notifications

The app asks for notification permission on first open. Notifications are used for verification codes, deposit confirmations and responsible-use reminders. Allow if you want to receive them; deny if you prefer to read the same messages inside the app.

Storage

The app asks for storage permission to save screenshots, cached media and account exports. The app does not read other apps' storage. Allow or deny based on whether you use the screenshot and export features.

Camera

The app may ask for camera permission during KYC. The camera is used only for ID-document capture. The app does not use the camera for anything else. Allow only when you are ready to capture your ID.

Location

The app may ask for location permission for jurisdiction verification. The location is used to confirm the app is allowed in your state. Allow or deny based on your privacy preference - the app may still work with location denied, but jurisdiction checks may be less precise.

After install

First open, first sign-in, first responsible-use review

Three small actions to take in the first ten minutes after install.

First open

Open the app from your launcher. The app loads the operator's first-time experience, which usually includes a welcome animation, an offer highlight and a sign-in prompt. You can skip the offer highlight and return to it later.

First sign-in

Sign in with your existing account or create a new account. The sign-in flow asks for your phone number, sends an OTP and asks you to set a password. If you already have an account, use the same phone number and password you registered with.

First responsible-use review

Open the responsible-use section inside the app and set a personal spend and time limit. The limit applies to deposits, not losses. Pick a number you can afford to lose entirely without affecting essentials. If you cannot pick that number, do not deposit.

Troubleshooting

Common install questions

If your install fails or stalls, work through this list before retrying.

The install button does nothing

Check that your browser is not blocking pop-ups or new tabs. The install action opens the install destination in a new tab; allow pop-ups for this product profile once.

"Install blocked" appears

Your device may be set to block installs from outside the Play Store. Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps, find your browser, and toggle the permission on for this session.

"App not installed" error

The error appears when the installer conflicts with an existing app or when the package is corrupted. Uninstall any existing version of the same app, redownload the installer and retry.

"Parse error" or "Invalid package"

The download was interrupted or incomplete. Redownload the installer over a stable Wi-Fi connection. If the error persists, clear the browser cache and retry.

The package signature cannot be verified

Do not proceed. Re-download from the verified first-party install action; do not use mirrored APKs.

Login fails after install

Check that the app version matches what you expected. If login still fails, open a support ticket from the Contact page and include the error message.

How do I uninstall the app?

Long-press the icon on your launcher and tap Uninstall, or use Settings → Apps → RS9 → Uninstall. After uninstall, also revoke any source permission you toggled on during step 2.

Troubleshooting matrix

Problem 1: Install blocked by Play Protect

Play Protect blocks the APK because the brand app is installed outside the Play store. Fix: open the verified first-party destination, accept the source prompt at install time, then tap Install. Do not silence Play Protect globally; allow the specific source only.

Problem 2: "App not installed" error

The APK is from a copied mirror rather than the verified route. Fix: uninstall any previously installed copy, clear the package installer cache, re-download from the verified route, retry. Do not install side-by-side from two sources.

Problem 3: Storage full

The brand app needs 200 to 400 MB free on the internal storage. Fix: clear the package installer cache, remove unused apps, free up at least 500 MB before retrying.

Problem 4: "Unknown sources" toggle off

The install permission for the source app (browser or package installer) is off. Fix: open Android Settings, find the source app, allow installs from this source, return to the install flow, retry.

Problem 5: Sign-in loop

The OTP screen rejects the code repeatedly. Fix: confirm the registered mobile number or email, request a fresh OTP, do not request multiple OTPs within five minutes, check that the OTP inbox is not filtered.

Problem 6: App crashes on first launch

The brand app crashes within seconds of the first launch. Fix: reboot the device, clear the app's storage from Android Settings, sign in again, retry. If the crash repeats, contact support through the contact route and include the device model and Android version.

Problem 7: Permission prompt storm

The brand app asks for many permissions on first launch. Fix: review the permission prompts one by one. Required: storage or media. Optional: location, notifications, contacts. The verified app does not require contacts, camera or microphone.

Problem 8: State eligibility message

The brand app shows a state-eligibility message at sign-in. Fix: real-money gaming rules differ by state. The install succeeds but the deposit and play routes are closed in restricted jurisdictions. Read the responsible-use route for the play boundary reminder.

Permissions deep dive

Six Android permissions, what each one unlocks and how to revoke it

The brand app asks for a small set of Android permissions. Read each prompt before granting it.

Storage / media

Stores local cache and any downloaded assets. Required for offline play. Revoke via Android Settings → Apps → RS9 → Permissions.

Location

Notifications

Verifying the install

Four checks after the install completes

Run these four checks after the brand app is installed and signed in.

Check 1: app icon

The brand app icon should carry the brand mark. If the icon is generic, the install is from a copied mirror rather than the verified route.

Check 2: sign-in destination

Sign-in lands on the verified home screen with the brand colour, the brand tag and the navigation. If sign-in routes through a copied mirror, the home screen differs from the captured source.

Check 3: install permission

The "Install unknown apps" toggle for the source app should be off after the install finishes. Turn the toggle off as a post-install hygiene step.

Check 4: state eligibility

Real-money gaming rules differ by state. The deposit and play routes are closed in restricted jurisdictions. Verify your local rules before depositing.
